36 icon-sized light textures, many of which can also be used as bases. They were created using images from stock.xchng ([link]) and Getty Images ([link]) as well as my own doodlings, using selective cropping and PS CS filters. The set includes images of fire, lightning, sparky-type things, brightly-colored stuff like close ups of marbles or other shiny stuff, and a few of my attempts at freehand textures. One texture comes from a photo of a sliced-open red cabbage! Photoshop is too much fun. :-)

Take, use, enjoy, but please credit (and comments are cool too). :-)

Aargh! I was writing a message and it vanished into dA ether. Grr. Aargh.

May I thank you here for all your very kind faves of my resources? :blush: Otherwise you'll get like ten messages in a row saying "Thank you for the fave!" :-) I really appreciate it, and I hope the various resources come in handy. Thanks! And thanks for the fave! :-) I hope they serve you well. :-) Sometimes the resources of my own I like best are ones I created out of necessity--in this case, I needed the sparky ones for some icons. Enjoy!
